A model can be made larger with technic parts than with normal system bricks. Therefore, the Ferdinand has also become a real chunk and can also be motorized later.

Construction
The construction of the hull begins with the insertion of countless pins in all possible variants. The technic components give the scaffolding enormous stability. The interior mostly consists of mechanics for moving the barrel. Both manual and motorized versions are built. The motors can even be added later. Only a few sets offer that. Usually they are so integrated into the construction that it is impossible to remove them again, let alone install them.
The last building steps consist of the gun barrel and the tracks. These run absolutely perfectly without motors, even on slippery surfaces. I later installed the components for the remote control. Actually, the tank is powered by XL engines, but I used smaller L engines. The Ferdinand also runs perfectly with these and even manages one or the other obstacle.
Conclusion:
The model is a real monster and technic fans will surely have fun. The RC version is also very suitable for playing. However, it may not be as suitable for collectors of military models, since they place more value on being authentic to the original.
