Apparently it can always be a little bigger. At 140 cm, this German submarine is the biggest set I’ve built so far, even if it’s a bit mid-range in terms of parts. You can see in the video whether these are enough for a high level of detail.

Construction
Roughly speaking, the boat is built in 3 modules. The middle section with the detailed interior is the first. Then the front and rear are built. These, however, do not contain any interior fittings. However, at this size, a lot of potential was wasted, which the Panlos submarine made much better use of.
The side covers are built separately and only attached to a few studs. This means they can be easily removed again to access the interior. The deck covers are also built in small stages. The sail is built almost completely and only then is it put on the boat. We also build a cannon, which doesn’t look too bad. A rope, which you have to cut to size yourself, connects the stern and the bow to the sail
Conclusion:
Visually, the submarine doesn’t look bad, even if a lot of space was wasted on details. Unfortunately, it’s more expensive than the more detailed boat from Panlos, which also has around 2000 more parts. You need a lot of space on the shelf to be able to display this monster. The set isn’t printed, but it does contain transfer stickers that look much better than normal stickers.
