Construction

The construction is basically similar to that of the Tiger, although it is a different hull. The last Tiger was the Porsche version, while the Sturmtiger is based on Henschel. The tracks run excellently and it is enough to push the tank. The interior consists of the built engine, driver’s area and some grenades.

The mortar is made entirely of molded parts and therefore looks more like the original than it would with a pure interlocking brick solution. In places the model is a bit fragile, which is partly due to the quality of the bricks and partly to the construction techniques. The bricks again have the granulated effect like the Tiger (P).
Conclusion:
For this limited edition model, you’ll have to dig a little deeper into your pockets than you’re used to from Quan Guan. But in return, you get a really beautiful model that fits perfectly into your collection.
