The model is a relic of the Cold War and is still in use in various countries. The boxy shape is not a bad implementation, but actually corresponds to the original.

Construction
The drive of this RC model consists of a combined motor block, which consists of several motors and the battery. This is initially packed into a technical construction, which gives the model a high level of stability. However, this is partly undone during further construction, as several add-on parts are attached too loosely to too few studs. A layer of plates is placed on the technical construction, on which the further construction is then carried out. The rear is the first step. This is followed by the front area. In the next construction steps, we will take care of the turret and the cannon. Here, further motors are used, which are attached to the combination block.
The shape of the turret is well captured. However, you never really know where to touch the finished structure. Many parts are not adequately secured and fall off quickly. The same applies to the long cannon. Although this is secured with a tile, this has only a minimal effect. The barrel falls off with every shock. Another problem is the included friction clutch. This is far too light and slips quickly thanks to the long barrel. This means that the barrel cannot really be raised and lowered. There are two possible solutions here. The first would be to replace it with a simple gear. This does not slip, but also has no security when the barrel is at the top or bottom. The second solution is to open the clutch and fix one of the two metal plates inside with a piece of plastic. This means that it cannot bend as much and the friction is much stronger. I used this option and after that raising and lowering the barrel using the remote control worked perfectly. Finally, the large rubber tires are attached and the model can start its test drive.
Conclusion:
Apart from a few instabilities, the model is really well done. The shape is very close to the original and you can put the howitzer on a shelf. Thanks to the RC and shooting function, you can also play with the model. But don’t be surprised if one or two parts keep falling off.

I have the same issue with the turret not raising. Would you be able to send instructions on how to fix it?
