In this case I treated myself to the limited edition again. There are not only a few additional figures here but also a Willys Jeep. The set is part of the new 80th D-Day Anniversary series.

Construction
Anyone who has already built a COBI ship will recognize some parallels here. There is plenty of construction direction reversal on a base made of slopes, onto which the separately built side walls are then placed. The details are almost exclusively in the rear. There you will find an indicated engine with a cover and 2 machine guns.
The flap at the front is attached via hinges, which makes it quite difficult to move. It doesn’t lower itself when you unwind the line. Despite its 1:35 scale, the small Jeep is quite detailed and fewer molded parts were used than in the 1:28 scale versions.
Conclusion:
If you just want a landing craft, you can simply use the Standard Edition. However, the Jeep is a nice extra that, for me, justified the extra charge for the Limited Edition.
