Construction
For this model, COBI is once again using the classic construction method for the hull and is using plates instead of rotated bricks for a stud-free base. After that, it continues in the same classic way. The machine is completely built and the side areas are not just made of printed tiles, as is the case with the larger 1:28. The first construction phase is completed with the tiling of the hull.
Next we move on to the rollers and the chains. These run smoothly and do not require any pressure. Before we move on to the tower, we build side skirts and attach hoses. The tower is rather simple and, as usual, is equipped with plenty of direction reversal. The set also contains a mini-figure and a nameplate.
Conclusion:
The different scales have divided the community a little. While some prefer the mini-figure scale so that the models also fit modern vehicles from the Armed Forces series, others would prefer the 1:28 scale with more details. The new King Tiger does not have to hide from the larger models. This does not only apply to the details, but also to the price. This is also comparatively high.
