As part of the 80th D-Day anniversary, COBI quickly brought this set onto the market, among others. Of course, a swimming test is a must here.

Construction
2 layers of plates form the basis of this model. These are then solidly framed by reversing the construction direction. The side panels are later attached to these. The front and rear are built separately and consist of solid blocks. Manual steering is available for attractive placement on the shelf.
The front area is really well done and has lots of details. I like the sides even better, where the print is split into several levels. In addition to a mini-figure, the set also includes lots of small parts that can be placed on the loading area.
Conclusion:
The model is surprisingly large for the 1:35 scale. It also looks very good. If you want to know whether it floats, you have to watch the video. I don’t want to give any spoilers here. 😉
