Construction
In the first steps, the structure differs in no way from the Limited Edition. Almost the entire hull is identical. The first differences can be found in the imprints on the side armor and the spare tracks in the rear area.
The machine is completely identical and the red hose is again too short. It can only be placed around the engine with difficulty. In the case of the frontal armor, the MG was also simply put on instead of sinking it. This optical shortcoming can only be remedied with additional parts. In the video I show a possible solution. The tracks once again run perfectly, no matter what surface you push the tank on.
The turret consists of a reverse build base, to which the sloped armor is then attached in several steps. Here, too, only the imprints differ from the Limited Edition. Accessories include a stretcher and 2 Polish soldiers with a flag.
Conclusion:
Anyone who already owns the Limited Edition will not discover anything new when setting it up. The two models are almost identical. I like the look of the Panther better without the side skirts. But you could also remove them from the Limited Edition if necessary. Aside from the Front MG, it’s a great model that deserves its place in my collection.
