It’s been a while since COBI tried to build an IS-3 again. But this new model has all the advantages that we first saw on the new Tiger.

Many people no longer believed it, but after countless Tiger and Sherman variations, COBI has finally brought the first, albeit small, Japanese tank onto the market.

I have already built the little brothers. In addition to the existing 1:28 and 1:35 sets, there is now also a 1:12 model that at least matches the 8000-piece Tiger 131 in terms of size.

In most cases, copies are not welcome. In this case, however, it is an excellent idea and also superbly implemented. 1275 parts have to compete with 8000 parts.

As part of the 80th D-Day anniversary, COBI quickly brought this set onto the market, among others. Of course, a swimming test is a must here.

The Executive Edition contains all the parts needed to build each of the 4 IOWA-CLASS battleships. Compared to its predecessor, a little of the interior has even been integrated.

So far, no other manufacturer has launched a Himars model. It is one of the best-known rocket artillery systems in the world.

The new Jeeps for the 80th anniversary of D-Day have a scale of 1:35 and 1:12 respectively. All previous models were 1:28 scale. You can see how the smaller scale compares in this video.

It’s been a while since the last Sturmtiger and COBI has improved significantly in the meantime. You can definitely see that in the new model, which is not only significantly more detailed, but also has an interior.

Even though Top Gun isn’t necessarily one of my favorite films, the plane obviously belongs in line with the other sets from this series that have already been built.

With the F-22, COBI is bringing another modern fighter aircraft onto the market. Here too, there are hardly any knobs to be seen and you get the impression that this is model building rather than clamping blocks.

In this case I treated myself to the limited edition again. There are not only a few additional figures here but also a Willys Jeep. The set is part of the new 80th D-Day Anniversary series.
