I’m always a bit wary of MOCs, as they’re often created entirely on a computer, and reality can ultimately ruin some nice ideas. Let’s take a look at how this beautiful model pans out.

The model is quite small and should therefore be quite quick to assemble. And it probably would have been, if a few minor problems hadn’t arisen. Here and there, construction techniques are used where half a stud is inserted offset. Of course, this only works if the studs are hollow on one side and there are no webs in the way on the other. And the latter was precisely the problem here. A cutter had to come to a solution. Many designers simply design their MOCs on the computer and then publish the instructions. If these are adopted by a provider without being checked, then time and again construction techniques arise that do not work in reality. For example, sections were built here that then hang freely in the air and have no connection to the hull. A test build would have identified this immediately and replaced the culprit (2 1×1 and a 1×6 plate) with a 1×8 plate, and the problem would have been solved.
Otherwise, it’s a very nice model, one you won’t find from any other manufacturer. However, the price is likely to deter many potential buyers. Aside from the aforementioned flaws, the quality of the building blocks is excellent.
