Newer sets from COBI always come with interior fittings. This rather large V2 is no exception. You can also build the rocket motor and the fuel tank.

Construction

In the first construction steps, we complete one half of the rocket body and then fill it with the built rocket motor and the fuel tanks. The taper towards the tip is achieved using unusual construction techniques, which you can see in more detail in the video. After the rocket is finished, it’s time for the small launch base. This is built quickly and only takes up one of the 5 construction phases.

The last two construction phases deal with the charcoal kiln, which is delicate but nevertheless very stable. Here, too, you will find one or two unusual construction techniques. Unfortunately, the tractor is missing from this set. If you want the Hanomag, you have to treat yourself to the limited edition. At least it does include a mini-figure, an information sign and a nameplate.

Conclusion:

Anyone who expected a small model at a scale of 1:35 might be a little surprised. The V2 is a decent size and is significantly larger than the V2 from Bluebrixx that I built a while ago. Unfortunately, the price is quite high again, but as a collector you can hardly do without this iconic model of the Second World War.
