Construction

In the first construction steps, we create a completely empty hull that already contains the device for a motor. The necessary parts are also already included in the set. The motors, however, are not included in the scope of delivery and must be purchased separately. Before the interior is built, we first finish the entire tank. For the tracks, 12Go uses its own variant and neither copies COBI nor does it use the usual tracks from the market leader. No matter what surface you test them on, they always run absolutely excellently. In the next construction steps, the side skirts and grilles at the rear are built.

After all the covers have been built, it’s the turn of the turret. This is also very detailed. Unfortunately, my set was missing an important part for holding the cannon. Here I had to improvise to complete the almost finished model. Now the interior is being built. This consists of several sections that are not always easy to put in place. For one element, a tile had to be moved because it was otherwise impossible to place it. In the front area you will find printed parts. Everything else was solved using stickers. These are really poorly made, however. They are supposed to be transfer stickers that actually look almost like prints. However, a kind of normal sticker has been stuck under a transfer sticker. These are difficult and tough to remove from the backing paper and look really bad on the model. Apart from the striking red stripes on the side skirts, I would leave them out completely.

Conclusion:

The model looks great and there is currently no better Armata made of interlocking bricks on the market. The stickers could have been removed better though. They are among the worst I have ever stuck on. As you can see in the video, the motorization was child’s play and so this model is suitable both for playing with and for displaying on the shelf.
