Panlos has released a new series of warships and the aircraft carrier Nimitz is one of those novelties. Despite the small scale, there was room for numerous details.

Construction
In contrast to COBI, Panlos builds the ships modularly. The individual sections are connected via Technic pins. During construction, it’s a really shaky affair. That changes, however, after the sections were later joined with tiles at the sides.
A number of airplanes are placed on the tiled surface. These are not molded parts. They are fully built and don’t look too bad for the small scale. Although most of the model has been printed, there are also some stickers. These are lines that go over many components at the same time. Finally, an extremely stable base is built from Technic components.
Conclusion:
The new series from Panlos makes a good impression. You get a nice model of good quality for little money. The only drawback is the scale. The problem is not the size, but the different scales of the different ships. This is definitely noticeable when placed side by side on the shelf.
