Instructions
Construction
The base of the hull is formed by a few plates, which are then also used to mount the rollers. These offer at least a hinted suspension by rubber parts. Before the whole thing is completely fixed, we build the tracks and pull them on. They are very loose and have no real guidance from the rollers. Therefore, the chains only work on rougher surfaces. In the next few steps, the hull will be completed with various attachments and finally tiled.
The turret is very large in relation to the hull and therefore requires some plates as a basis. These are first equipped with plenty of construction direction reversals, to which the armor is then attached all around. Numerous small details are then attached to these. For this level of detail and for being Sluban, the model is surprisingly stable when fully assembled.
Conclusion:
After numerous fictional tanks in the past, Sluban has also dared to approach real tanks. And they really don’t have to hide, even if they don’t come close to the COBI models. The price is also significantly lower and they are available worldwide.
