The small 1:48 scale sets are entering the second round with the T-34-85. There was a previous variant of this tank, but we have to compare the two as well.

Construction
With this model we start again with the usual plates and bring the hull to the required height. The front and rear are built separately and attached to the hull.
With jumper plates we provide more width and a taper for the beveled side armor. Now it’s the turn of the rollers and chains. Despite their size, these run very well even on smooth surfaces.
The small turret uses the same construction techniques as the big brother. A small base with a reversal of the construction direction accommodates the separately built side parts. We complete this construction step with the pipe, which is larger than the previous model.
Compared to the Tiger I, the T-34 is visibly smaller. We see an even clearer difference when we place it next to the large model of the T-34.
Conclusion:
Apart from the turret, the two T-34s differ only slightly. The mini tank does not need to shy away from the comparison with its big brother on a scale of 1:32. All important details have been thought of.
